Monitoring Forum in Munich

At the Monitoring Forum in Munich Social Media Monitoring agencies as well as clients met to discuss the latest trends as well as use cases. The recurring Theme throughout the day was: Actual people are still irreplaceable in social media monitoring – for specifying relevance and search criteria as well as categorizing and analyzing posts.

On the 21st and 22nd of November the VDA QMC (Quality Management Center of the German Automotive Association) hosted the 14th conference and exhibition for Quality Managers in the automotive industry. The keynote covered a broad spectrum of topics, from future challenges for quality management as well as legal concerns or marketing topics, such as the advantages of managers as a brand. We would like to thank all visitors of our booth for the interesting discussions as well as their suggestions and questions.

This week executives of the automotive industry meet in Berlin for the annual “Automobilwoche Kongress” a congress hosted by the German automotive news paper Automobilwoche. As this year’s main topic is “success in imponderable times” leading companies as well as start-ups disclose their strategies to face the recent challenges in the automotive industry. With key notes by Carlos Tavares, Herbert Diess and many other executives in the industry, other topics were electromobility, connectivity of different means of transport and business models for retailers in the future.

By now, the annual congress “Das vernetzte und automatisierte Auto” (the connected and automated car) has developed into the event for executives and experts in the fields of autonomous and connected driving. This year, main topics included among others: new mobility in urban areas, business opportunities in the areas of connected and autonomous driving and economic, political and legal challenges.

A Keynote at the SV conference "Recht und Automatisiertes Fahren" in Nürnberg, Germany

The SV conference on 18th and 19th October in Nürnberg in Germany focused on the legal aspects of automated and connected driving. What are the legal frameworks in Germany and abroad, how can we use data in a connected car and ensure data protection, how can the vehicles be insured and who is liable in the event of damage? Keynotes about these and other questions were delivered for example by Daimler, BMW, Allianz and Deloitte. The increasing automatisaton and connectivity of vehicles also presents new challenges for companies as they are obligated to observe their products in the marked in order to detect quality issues.

Debate at Ludwig Erhard heute

“Luwig Erhard heute” is a series of events hosted by the Bavarian minister of economic affairs Ilse Aigner. On 27th July she invited Germany’s former minister of finance, Dr. Theo Waigel and the president of the “Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband e.V.” to have a debate about stability in Europe. The general question was: Which measures have to be taken to ensure growth and prosperity in Europe. The debate was moderated by publisher Dr. Wolfram Weimer.
