CIMS 6.0 offers the possibility to import internal and external data in Excel/csv format via a convenient interface and to assign it to an integrated hierarchical category system via a configurable mapping tool. In addition to that, own data sources and internet/social media sources can be directly connected via an API or dedicated web harvesters, respectively. This allows for a comprehensive analysis of data and information with different structure (e.g. quality data from warranty cases with call center feedback and customer opinions from online discussion boards).
Category and Source Manager
Within CIMS 6.0, users can set up their own multidimensional hierarchical category trees and structure and edit them with drag & drop. The discrimination between tagging (assigning of an attribute) and rating categories (attribute with tonality and relevance scale) allows for a differentiated coding even of qualitative information. Likewise, internal and external sources can be set up, edited, clustered and assigned with individual expiry dates (to consider license restrictions).
The Case Editor with optimized usability enables user to create new cases (text, image, video, audio) or edit cases which have been imported into CIMS. Complete cases or single verbatims can be coded with tagging and rating categories and thus made available for filtering and analyses. With the highlighting feature, a mouse-over leads to the marking of the verbatim corresponding with the category. The categorization can be executed in bulk (for several cases with the same attributes) or based on defined rules. AI-based category suggestions support especially when working with new data sets. The translation of case content can be done manually or automatically.
In Case Viewer, all cases which have been approved in the Case Editor will be displayed including translation, images, video and audio as well as all meta data (source, URL, data, time, etc.) and categories. The cases can be searched, clustered, ranked and selected by unlimited combinable filters and extended search functionalities. An AI-based word cloud with drill-in functionality allows for quick conclusions on correlations and associations. All cases can be exported with all corresponding meta data and categories. In addition to that, users can save their individual filters – and receive alerts per e-mail whenever new cases fulfilling the filter criteria appear in the system.
The analysis area offers unlimited options to combine diagrams to convenient dashboards which can be saved and shared with colleagues. Users can select from 29 diagrams including heatmaps, geographical maps, donut charts and cobwebs. Moreover, a simultaneous setup of several complex dashboards is possible. All diagrams and tables within the dashboards can be exported in a multitude of formats (e.g. jpg, gif, pdf) for use in own presentations and reports.
Workflow tools support the collaboration in teams, e.g. for individual status assignment of commenting of cases. For task prioritization, cases can be filtered by status. Data quality management is supported by automated audit status and approval processes.
A comprehensive Meta CIMS allows for comparative analyses – e.g. benchmarking of competitors or results from different studies.
Different category structures are merged with help of a dedicated category mapping tool, so that direct comparison and pattern detection is possible.
Besides online tool tips in the CIMS, Consline provides a technical hotline for all user questions. In addition to that, specific user trainings are offered both online and onsite.
